Refrigerant R143a

Refrigerant R143a, also known as 1,1,1-Trifluoroethane, is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) used primarily in refrigerant blends for cooling applications. It has the chemical formula C₂H₃F₃ and is part of the HFC family, which was developed to replace older chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) due to their ozone-depleting potential.
